Responsibilities
Contribute to the recruitment and implementation of an intervention for suicide prevention with adults recently released from jail
Suicide risk screening
Phone check-ins
Developing/monitoring use of safety plan
Care coordination support for health resources
Delivering the Coping Long-Term with Active Suicide Program (CLASP) intervention
Participating in development of departmental short and long-range goals
Maintaining open lines of communication with leadership and health educators regarding issues internally and across the study
Making situational determinations of whether to escalate concerns about study participants’ suicidal ideation or similar concerns to Site PI
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field
1 year experience conducting psychotherapy using evidence-based protocols, including the diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions
1 year experience working with individuals who have had interactions with the criminal legal system
1 year experience working with individuals exhibiting high risk behaviors
1 year experience conducting behavioral risk assessments
1 year experience using research methodologies and delivering research protocols as distinct from routine clinical care
1 year experience documenting research intervention delivery and serious adverse events
1 year experience delivering phone-based or telehealth services
Must be LGSW or LICSW
