Responsibilities

Providing tax consulting and advisory services to Cherry Bekaert professionals and their clients
Work closely with fellow NTO specialists to ensure comprehensive technical soundness on tax consulting and advisory advice
Working with HR Consulting to ensure federal tax and ERISA compliance
Participating in national C&B professional groups
Researching and writing technical tax memoranda
Developing thought leadership and other external marketing materials
Developing and delivering internal staff training for tax issues
Assisting with internal and external webinars and presentations
Assisting with firm-wide quality control procedures

Qualification

Required

CPA and/or JD
At least 6 years working with federal tax issues related to compensation and benefits and employment tax issues
An understanding of ERISA

Strong interpersonal skills
