Responsibilities
Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes
Identify cost and process improvements to reduce cost, increase OEE, and labor reduction opportunities
Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers, engineering interns, and technicians
Lead troubleshooting efforts on the manufacturing floor, interface with design, quality, and production teams
Own manufacturing projects, new launch activities, and team events from concept to completion
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Determine process standards, detailed specifications, and associated documentation for quoting of new equipment
Collaboration with customers, corporate functional teams, and internal teams for new programs or change management projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering plus 5 years of experience in related field preferred or minimum 10 years equivalent work experience
Experience in manufacturing technologies including machining, assembly, machine controls, and robotics
CAD capable
Print reading/interpretation including GD&T
2 years of project management
Strong oral and written communication skills required to effectively present information, write reports and process instructions, and provide support to various functional groups
