Accounting Specialist, Customer Care

Fedegari is a company in the biopharma and life sciences industry seeking an Accounting Specialist, Customer Care to support their finance and customer care teams. Responsibilities

Provide back-end administrative support to the customer care team in an organized, proactive, courteous, and professional manner
Reconcile Salesforce.com data entry and administration, ensuring customer accounts, service requests, and billing data are accurate and up to date
Aid with the coordination of technical service scheduling and department Concur administration in collaboration with the Field Service Manager
In partnership with the Field Service Manager or Customer Care Director, facilitate the biweekly โ€œtech hours reportโ€ and approval process for hourly, non-exempt payroll and ensure the timely submission to human resources
As necessary, support spare parts inventory tracking, reconciliation, and billing coordination together with customer care sales or warehouse staff
As necessary, serve as a point of contact for customer billing inquiries and service-related questions, ensuring timely and professional responses
Assist with special projects or ad-hoc requests from the Customer Care Director
Process customer invoices and ensure billing accuracy for service, parts, and product sales. Communicate with customers and departments to resolve past due accounts
Full accounts payable functions include processing invoices, making timely payments to vendors, and aligning expenses to reflect internal policies
Final processing of all Concur expense reports before payment submission
Execute banking transactions related to receiving, applying, and initiating payments
Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, recording expenses resulting from companywide credit-card transactions, and account reconciliations
Monthly filing of state sales tax and annual filings of state annual reports:
Completion of month-end reporting to supplement internal financial reporting
Various administrative responsibilities such as accounting-related assistance with onboarding activities or basic facilities management
Assist with special projects or ad-hoc requests from the Accounting Manager

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
3+ years of relevant experience in accounting with added operational support responsibilities
Working knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP)
Proven experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM software
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail

Preferred

Working experience with SAP, preferably navigating processes between company operations and accounting
