Strategic Sourcing Lead
The Judge Group is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Lead to manage the full SaaS renewals pipeline and execute renewal milestones. This role involves negotiating contracts, analyzing spend, and supporting supplier governance to optimize procurement processes.
Responsibilities
Manage the full SaaS renewals pipeline, maintaining a 12–18 month forecast and executing 180/120/90/60‑day renewal milestones to prevent auto-renewals
Analyze license entitlements and usage to right-size spend, optimize consumption, and identify consolidation opportunities across overlapping applications
Leverage third‑party benchmarking tools to evaluate market pricing and commercial terms; develop negotiation strategies and target outcomes
Lead negotiations for renewals and small technology purchases following approved playbooks (e.g., price protections, CPI caps, step-downs, proration/ramp structures, true‑up relief, downgrade rights)
Build credible switching options when appropriate to strengthen negotiation positioning
Review and interpret commercial contract terms and amendments; compare language across versions using CLM tools (e.g., Evisort) and maintain accurate repository version control. •(Note: This role does not draft contracts.)•
Support supplier governance by maintaining scorecards and QBRs; drive performance through SLAs, issue remediation, joint roadmaps, and relationship development
Conduct limited competitive sourcing (RFx) when needed; manage quotes, evaluate options, and document award decisions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience, including leading small‑ to medium‑scale negotiations and sourcing activities
Strong analytical capabilities, including proficiency in Excel/Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, PowerQuery), TCO modeling, and price/cost analysis; data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau) are a plus
Working knowledge of commercial contracting fundamentals (SLAs, warranties, data privacy, liability caps, confidentiality, IP basics) and experience partnering with Legal
Experience with eSourcing platforms, CLM systems, and spend analytics tools
Excellent communication, attention to detail, stakeholder management, and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
Preferred
Professional certifications preferred: CPSM, CIPS, CSCP (or in progress)
