Responsibilities
Provide accurate, fast and comprehensive English-to-Chinese news translations in a high-speed and high-pressure environment
Demonstrate outstanding news judgement on stories related to global markets, economic and political trends
Create content, write and edit copy designed to provide insight for Chinese-reading traders, analysts and money managers
Leverage Bloomberg’s cutting-edge AI features and newsroom tools to facilitate translation, editing and story production, while applying strong editorial oversight and accountability
Work effectively across multiple teams and platforms, including close collaboration with English-language colleagues
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree or above
Proven news judgement and a strong sense of urgency
Minimum 3 years of experience working in journalism or the financial industry
Solid knowledge and understanding of the economy and financial markets as well as the dynamics that move various asset prices
Excellent translating, writing and editing skills in primarily Chinese language
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English
