Atrium is a growing consumer services company in the middle market, seeking a Junior Accountant. The role involves overseeing financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles, and providing support in financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards
General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Review and post journal entries and monitor transactions to ensure completeness and accuracy
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes. Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and customer collections
Month-end and Year-end Close: Senior Accountant will lead the month-end and year-end closing processes. Coordinate with other teams to ensure all financial activities are accurately recorded and reported within set timelines
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis to key stakeholders
Financial Analysis: Conduct a detailed analysis to support decision-making. Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for cost optimization
Tax Compliance: The Senior Accountant will assist in preparing tax returns and provide support during audits. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external tax advisors as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting
Experience with full-cycle accounting, including financial reporting and month-end close
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
