Responsibilities
Oversee Daily Accounting Operations: Manage and direct day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, daily cash flow and bank reconciliations
Prepare, review, and analyze accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Lead and manage the entire month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analysis
Manage end-to-end AP and AR cycles, including invoice processing, timely vendor payments daily cash flow, and cash receipts
Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and improve efficiency
Coordinate and assist with annual internal and external audits and tax return preparation, acting as the primary liaison for auditors and tax professionals
Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff, fostering a high-performance and collaborative team environment
Identify and implement process improvements and automation within the accounting department to increase efficiency and accuracy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
A minimum of 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience, including experience in a supervisory or management role
Thorough understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
