Supply Chain Data Analyst

Responsibilities

Monitor inventory accuracy, movement, and levels across multiple distribution centers
Perform root ‑ cause analysis on variances, shrink, cycle count results, and aged inventory
Provide recommendations that improve inventory control processes and reduce waste
Refresh weekly inventory health data and release inventory health files for DCs
Run and review weekly requisition summaries
Clean up PO lines and cancel incorrect orders
Analyze freight spend, carrier performance, delivery reliability, and route efficiency
Support cost reduction efforts and service improvement initiatives across the transportation network
Develop reporting to track trends and highlight operational risks and opportunities
Identify performance gaps and process bottlenecks using data ‑ driven analysis
Support Lean and continuous improvement efforts in warehousing and logistics
Convert insights into practical action steps that improve throughput, service, and cost
Support daily data maintenance and clean ‑ up, including fixing missing supplier/sub inventory relationships and cross ‑ references
Update planning codes in each ORG as needed
Define and maintain key operational KPIs (fill rate, OTIF, accuracy, turns, cost per unit, transit times, etc.)
Develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards to provide real ‑ time visibility to DC and Logistics leadership
Ensure dashboards remain accurate, reliable, and aligned to changing business needs
Refresh weekly KPI datasets and reporting dashboards
Use Excel and SQL to extract, clean, integrate, and validate data from ERP, WMS, and transportation systems
Maintain data integrity and support ongoing improvements in data structure and metric governance
Standardize reporting templates and ensure a consistent “single source of truth” for performance data
Book special POs and manage manual inventory receipts as needed
Release DC purchase orders
Release Canada cross-dock purchase orders
Manual intercompany inventory transfers
Validate reorder quantities and release appropriate POs
Coordinate with plants and DCs to ensure adequate stock levels
Map brands to new customers
Process customer brand table change requests

Required

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Analytics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
1–3+ years of experience in supply chain, distribution, logistics, or business data analytics
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data modeling)
Proficiency with SQL for querying and joining datasets
Experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards
Ability to simplify complex data into clear visuals and actionable insights
Analytical & Detail ‑ Oriented
Operational Efficiency Mindset
KPI Reporting & Performance Tracking

Preferred

Experience working with ERP or WMS systems
Understanding of warehouse and transportation operations
Exposure to Lean or continuous improvement practices
