They are seeking a Software Engineering Summer Analyst/Associate to work on their AI Platform team, where the intern will apply classroom skills to real-world projects, focusing on the development and deployment of AI and Large Language Model applications.

Responsibilities
Apply skills and knowledge learned in the classroom to on-the-job experiences
Work on projects focused on building, evaluating, and deploying sophisticated AI and Large Language Model (LLM) applications
Help build and enhance the infrastructure that enables our teams to build LLM agents, use multiple LLMs, run AI experiments, conduct model evaluations, monitor application performance, and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of AI systems
Work on comprehensive, value-added project(s) that help enhance the fields of science and technology
Collaborate with teams/colleagues in a fast-paced environment
Gain professional development & build relationships with peers from across the country
Learn and contribute to the scalability and sustainability of the core platform that supports our AI/ML systems in the cloud
Join one of our engineering pods to collaborate with Product Managers and other engineers to design and build a major new feature for our internal AI platform
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field (undergraduate completion in summer of 2027 or 2028)
Exceptional problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, a curiosity to learn, and a drive to improve
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with others in a fast-paced environment. You are excited by the challenge of building and scaling tools in real-time
Preferred
3.0+ GPA preferred
A GitHub or other online portfolio demonstrating software development projects is strongly preferred, especially those involving AI application development, LLMs, or MLOps
Experience with Python and cloud technologies (GCP, AWS) is highly desirable
Familiarity with the AI application lifecycle, including data processing, experimentation, evaluation, and monitoring is a plus
Knowledge of frameworks and libraries like LangChain, Hugging Face, or other LLM-related tools is a significant advantage
