Responsibilities
Direct design structured with daily interaction of R&D along with Drafting personnel to assure proper execution of the design in accordance with industry standards and customer specifications
Translate those customer specification requirements into production Bill of Materials (BOM's)
Participate in the resolution of design related problems that arise during the manufacturing process, or after product delivery
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology required
Requires excellent communication skills (oral and written) for both internal partners and external customers
Works well in a team environment as well as independently
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
Preferred
Experience in control circuit and / or circuit breaker design preferred. (New engineering graduates with co-op/intern experience can be considered)
Knowledge of general manufacturing, product testing, and/or substation design is a plus
Previous experience using AutoCAD, SAP, and/or electrical programming software is preferred
