Human Resources Analyst B, C or Specialist

Responsibilities
Greet employees with kindness and professionalism
Enter employees into the system for LDOE hires, verify their information, and assist with completing any necessary paperwork
Answer incoming calls, route messages, and provide requested information about HR services
Run payroll and other reports regularly to be proactive with bi-weekly assignments
Support the team with everyday tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
Four years of human resources experience
Six years of full-time experience in any field plus one year of human resources experience
A bachelor's degree plus one year of human resources experience
An advanced degree in human resources, business administration, public administration, industrial and organizational psychology, organizational behavior, or a Juris Doctorate
Experience with state LaGov system to include payroll, benefits, and retirement
Designation as a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) will substitute for a maximum of one year of the required experience
The ability to be open and willing to follow guidance or instructions
The ability to take ownership of actions, behaviors, performance, decisions, and outcomes
The ability to analyze information objectively, identify connections across sources, and form logical, well-supported conclusions
