Project Engineer
WorldBridge Printing, Packaging & Paper is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead and manage Capital Expenditure (CapEx) projects at their manufacturing facility near Lexington, Kentucky. The role involves overseeing the planning, design, execution, and closeout of capital projects while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Lead planning, design, execution, and closeout of capital projects from concept through commissioning
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk to ensure successful delivery
Coordinate cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, contractors, and vendors
Provide technical oversight across multiple disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, and controls)
Develop and review engineering designs, specifications, and construction documents
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Support equipment selection, installation, startup, and performance validation
Qualification
Required
5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Demonstrated experience managing capital projects (CapEx)
Strong technical background across multiple disciplines: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Controls
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field required)
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Manufacturing facility expansions, equipment installations, or process improvements
Working with EPC firms, contractors, and vendors
Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
