Coverflow is a company that helps insurance brokers automate their most challenging workflows through an AI platform. They are seeking an AI Full Stack Engineer to build intelligent, user-facing workflows using large language models to enhance insurance processes.

Responsibilities

Build and ship full stack features powered by LLMs for extraction, classification, summarization, and workflow automation
Design and iterate on prompts and prompt chains for reliability, accuracy, and cost efficiency
Integrate LLM APIs into backend services and product workflows (Python)
Implement retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) and document‑based reasoning pipelines
Build clear, intuitive React interfaces that surface AI outputs and confidence signals
Monitor and improve LLM performance through evaluation, logging, and feedback loops
Work with infrastructure engineers to deploy, scale, and observe AI‑powered features
Prototype quickly and take features from 0 → 1 with real customer feedback

Required

3+ years of experience building production software
Strong proficiency in Python and experience building backend services
Hands‑on experience integrating LLMs into real applications
Comfortable with prompt engineering, prompt iteration, and LLM evaluation
Experience working with LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, similar)
Experience building modern frontend applications (React preferred)
Product‑minded with strong attention to UX and detail
Comfortable moving across the stack in a fast‑moving startup
Humble, driven, and excited to own meaningful product surfaces

Preferred

Experience working with large documents or unstructured data
Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, and vector databases
Exposure to guardrails, monitoring, or reliability techniques for LLM systems
Experience deploying applications on AWS (e.g., EC2, S3)
Experience building workflow‑heavy or enterprise software
