Responsibilities
Multiply the President's effectiveness by acting as a thought partner to the CEO on strategy and determining what truly matters
Partner with the President to translate vision and ideas into actionable strategies, manage and then track high priority projects and time efficiently
Prepare the President for key meetings, decisions, and communications
Cross-Functional Alignment, solve the "white space" between departments, coordinate across the leadership team, resolve conflicts between functions when priorities collide, ensure teams are rowing in the same direction, surface systemic issues that don't live neatly in one department
Create structure around initiatives, providing organization, prioritization, and execution plans
Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities to streamline operations throughout all areas of the business
Anticipate needs, provide key insights, and prepare necessary materials for meetings and decisions
Support the implementation and ongoing use of the company's Business Operating System by assisting leadership with tracking goals, priorities, KPIs, and follow-through
Special Projects - M&A, Growth Initiatives, charitable foundations, industry board roles. Things that are important, but new
Assist President with company, charitable foundation, and board advisory responsibilities
Decision Support & Analysis - Gather and synthesize data from across the business. Frame options and implications clearly
Proactively assess challenges faced by the President or leadership team and recommend solutions to mitigate risk
Conduct research and analysis to support strategic decision-making and proactively flag potential issues
Help foster a high-performance, solution-oriented culture within the leadership team through thoughtful questioning and collaborative problem-solving
Support organizational growth by anticipating future needs, asking probing questions, and surfacing root issues
Qualification
Required
5+ years in a senior executive, operations leader, or Chief of Staff role
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to simplify complexity and create clarity around ambiguous ideas
High emotional intelligence and ability to influence without authority
Problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Microsoft Office 365 (SharePoint and Outlook expertise)
Able to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution
Comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting
Innovation- and efficiency-focused mindset
Experience supporting the execution of SOPs
Results-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Preferred
Experience supporting or working within a business operating system (EOS, Scaling Up, System & Soul, etc.) is a plus
