Responsibilities

Design and execute mixed-methods research (qualitative and quantitative), including interviews, usability testing, diary studies, surveys, behavioral analytics, and literature reviews
Synthesize and communicate insights through storytelling, frameworks, and visual artifacts to influence product strategy and design decisions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Analytics, to analyze behavioral data, triangulate with qualitative findings, and advocate for user needs
Contribute to UX research excellence by sharing best practices, setting standards, and mentoring team members

Required

BA/BS in Social Sciences (Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, etc), Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design or related field or, in lieu of a degree, equivalent work experience
4+ years of applied UX research experience in product or service design environments
Able to independently manage multiple workstreams with a bias toward action, knowing when 'good enough' beats perfect
Strong command of qualitative and quantitative methods and tools (e.g., Dscout, Qualtrics), with the ability to analyze complex datasets, apply basic statistics, and translate insights into product recommendations

Preferred

M.A/M.S./Ph.D. in Social Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design or related field
Experience in healthcare research: Consumer healthcare, digital health, or regulated domains, with familiarity in behavior change frameworks and health outcomes research
Experience working on AI-powered or data-driven products
Experience driving alignment in fast-paced, ambiguous 0→1 environments
