New Grad, Entry LevelDCB Farming is seeking a reliable and motivated Field Technician to support agricultural operations in the Merced and El Nido area. The role focuses on water treatment, irrigation support, and material transport, requiring hands-on work and a commitment to safety in field environments.
Farming
Responsibilities
Oversee and assist with water treatment systems in agricultural field operations
Support irrigation operations and report directly to the Irrigation Manager
Transport water treatment materials, chemicals, and supplies to various field sites
Monitor field conditions and assist with troubleshooting irrigation and water-related issues
Safely operate trucks and equipment used in field operations
Ensure proper handling, transport, and documentation of regulated materials
Perform routine field checks and assist with maintenance related to irrigation infrastructure
Maintain accurate records of materials transported and work performed
Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and agricultural compliance requirements
Work collaboratively with farm management and field crews to meet operational needs
Qualification
Required
Valid CDL required
Hazmat endorsement required
Ability to safely transport materials to and from agricultural field sites
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
Ability to work independently and follow direction from management
Good communication skills and dependable work ethic
Preferred
Experience working in agriculture, irrigation, water treatment, or related field operations
