Responsibilities
Safeguard all hazards within our facility, utilize approved PPE’s at all times and maintain personal compliance to all applicable OSHA requirements
Perform daily preventative maintenance according to the maintenance system (CMMS) schedule
Responsible for diagnostic troubleshooting and repair in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, fluid, and pressured air systems
Perform calibrations and repairs to equipment in response to CMMS Web-Request including major component repairs and minor electrical, electronic circuit board and component level troubleshooting
Act as mentor to Maintenance Technicians (Tech I)
Provide continuous feedback to enhance Predictive Maintenance
Participate in workshops aligned with facility Focus Five initiatives
Utilize Lock-Out / Tag-Out to ensure safe work environment
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred
Minimum of Three (3) recent years of related work experience
Must be able to read and interpret Mechanical and Electrical drawings
Must have working knowledge in Electronics
Must have strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to read English in order to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
General mathematical skills to include basic adding, subtracting, multiplication and division
Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions
General problem solving abilities
Mechanically inclined
Exhibit sound and accurate judgment and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
Must be able to read English to understand written procedures, hazardous warning, etc
Ability to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends and holidays
Possesses Strong Attention to Detail
Possesses Strong communication and negotiation skills
Detail oriented and works with urgency and a high degree of accuracy
Handles confidential and personal information appropriately
Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations
Possesses strong problem solving skills
Utilizes customer service best practices to improve performance
Utilizes conflict resolution techniques to handle challenging situations
Ability to prioritize detailed tasks with minimal input to accomplish daily and long-term goals
Preferred
College degree in related field and or Technical School Certification in related field preferred
