The Engineering Architect Level 1 (Structural Integration) will actively participate to Specify, Design and integrate architecture and system functions on various programs and multiple platforms.

Responsibilities
Define System/Integration architectures in accordance with engineering operation requirements as elaborated during offer phases to meet customer, airworthiness, general engineering standards and company requirements
Design, integrate and approve the defined solutions
Validate design solutions by implementing simulation, modeling, predictive tools
Design, develop, and review technical documents and engineering drawings needed to integrate avionics and electrical equipment, and their associated interfaces
Provide liaison support to various internal and external customers as required for support of aircraft integration and conformity efforts (suppliers, planning, industry, quality, etc.)
Present and communicate modifications and aircraft configuration during design reviews and other required presentations to a variety of customers
Design layout of aircraft modifications, zonal allocations and weight & CG impact as well as layout of various completions and STC projects
Develop wire routing and aircraft structure interface (considerations to include antennae location/separation requirements, maintainability, etc.)
Create airframe design integrations and modifications for structural items such as doors, windows, frames, etc. and for external load items like cameras, lighting, hoists, cargo hooks, floats, etc
Develop structural drawings (details/assemblies, installations, wire routing, mod drawings, top drawings, etc.)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering (or equivalent technical degree and/or relevant experience)
Minimum 3 (three) years of relevant experience (or verifiable demonstrated equivalent) of aircraft systems design, development, integration and certification
Avionics architecture
Avionics system integration
System Engineering ARP 4754
Structural Systems Integration (aircraft interfaces)
Physical-requirements based structural component design experience (interface, loads/load path and vibration)
Structural component design and manufacturing processes
Electrical Wiring Diagram and wire-routing requirements understanding
Model-based design expertise in alignment with industry standards and best methods (e.g. : CATIA-V5)
High quality engineering drawing development capabilities in alignment with industry standards
Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form in English
Avionics and Electrical system
Avionics system integration
Digital literacy
Avionics systems layout requirements and considerations
Preferred
Master of Science in the above referenced degrees
