The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure high-quality mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Java
Create and execute automated test scripts for mobile applications (Android & iOS)
Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
Use mobile automation tools such as Appium for cross-platform testing
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Analyze test results, log defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues
Conduct API testing and backend validation where required
Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test case design
Ensure test coverage, stability, and scalability of automation suites
Maintain testing documentation and reports
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in Java
Experience with Mobile Automation Testing using Appium
Hands-on experience testing Android and/or iOS applications
Knowledge of test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit
Experience with Maven/Gradle
Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC
Experience in defect tracking tools (JIRA or similar)
Preferred
Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
Knowledge of API automation (REST Assured, Postman)
Experience with cloud device farms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing
Exposure to performance or security testing
