Responsibilities
Daily operational and database administration activities
Plan, design, implement, support for database structures
Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning
Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation
Perform SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL Code reviews
Assist with training/mentoring other technical staff This resource may also be required to perform other database or infrastructure activities as requested
Qualification
Required
Experience with the principles, practices and techniques of relational database management systems
Experience with Relational Database Management
Experience with ESRI SDE Geodatabases
Experience in customer service
Experience in analyzing processes and workflows to design efficient database solutions
Experience in preparing complex database specifications
Experience in designing relational databases
Experience in interpreting and communicating technical information related to computer programming and data processing, both verbally and in writing
Experience in developing and managing relational databases in accordance with the Department's standards
