Responsibilities
The Field Technician must be able to work independently with little supervision, and to be a positive representative for Perimeter Security Partners with clients
Assess, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair ACP & AVB equipment and CCTV systems
Identifying and resolving issues within hydraulic systems and components (pumps, valves, cylinders, etc.)
Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment using checklists, manufacturer’s guidance, and technical expertise
Provide daily reports on equipment condition, services performed, and additional work needed
Develop material / equipment lists and labor estimates to correct deficiencies
Perform repairs, including replacing worn or damaged parts, and conducting routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, fluid checks, and filter changes
Coordinate closely with Client security and other personnel to safely conduct maintenance and service actions while minimizing operational impacts
Draft and organize electronic documentation following each repair or preventive maintenance visit, including compiling receipts, reviewing completed checklists, obtaining Client approval signature(s), composing technician reports, and other close-out documents
Operate in a safe manner and coordinate maintenance of a service vehicle
Qualification
Required
Experience as a field service technician on industrial systems, motors and drives
Ability to read schematics and single-line drawings
Familiarity with high voltage circuits up to 480 VAC and low voltage controls (12-24 VDC)
Must possess a valid driver's license
Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test to permit access to military installations and similar controlled areas
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds to waist level
Preferred
