HV Project Management Intern

Responsibilities

Your intern assignment is generally 10-12 weeks, and co-op assignment is generally 16-18 weeks and will include an assigned project and opportunities to present your work
You will also collaborate on other exciting projects and work with talented peers and inspirational leaders, many of whom began as interns and co-ops themselves
You will be provided a robust developmental experience through an immersive onboarding and offboarding experience, assigned a mentor, networking opportunities, organized events, activities, and community service /volunteer initiatives
You will have the opportunity to impact the future of the organization, all the while being exposed to a world-class program community
Finally, our rising senior interns and co-ops are considered for full-time employment opportunities
Map current PM processes to identify gaps, variations, and opportunities for improvement
Work with PMO leadership to standardize templates, workflows, and process documentation
Support improvements to PMO scheduling processes and workflows
Develop, enhance, or maintain KPI dashboards, metric reporting, and PMO toolsets
Assist with planning activities, milestone tracking, and creation of project schedules
Conduct risk analysis and support risk mitigation efforts
Help prepare project reports, stakeholder communications, cost reviews, and meeting materials
Gain exposure to real project-management decision making in a dynamic and evolving environment

Required

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Operations Management, Business Major, or a related field
Minimum 3.2 GPA
Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Reliable transportation to and from work

Preferred

Project Management Certificate (e.g., CAPM) is desirable
Proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
Demonstrated interest in project management, process improvement, or structured problem‑solving environments
