Responsibilities

Performs all duties of scheduling appointments, answering telephones, entering all information into the computer
Communicates effectively with other areas of the department, hospital and physician offices to coordinate patient activities
The Coordinator is responsible for identified critical unit support activities and identified critical clerical/administrative functions as directed
Coordinates all patient appointments after gathering and receiving approval from radiologist
Work closely with nursing and technical staff to provide a caring and smooth flow in patient care area
Is the point person for staff for patient information regarding all communication with ordering physician offices and internal staff
