Responsibilities
The Principal Applications Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and leading the implementation of large-scale, mission-critical enterprise software systems
This role combines deep technical expertise in full stack development with strong architectural leadership in cloud-based environments
The Architect works closely with public-sector stakeholders, project teams, and business owners to ensure successful delivery of complex software solutions, particularly in construction management and infrastructure-focused environments
Qualification
Required
12+ years of experience in enterprise software development and application architecture
Expert-level proficiency in Perl programming
Strong experience with Java and React full stack development
Proven expertise with MySQL and MariaDB database systems
Extensive experience architecting and deploying applications in AWS environments
Demonstrated success managing large-scale, mission-critical software implementations
Strong communication skills with experience reporting on features, upgrades, backlog, and project health
Preferred
Construction management subject matter expertise preferred
