Responsibilities
Provide L2/L3 production support for enterprise applications across production and pre-production environments
Ensure high availability, performance, stability, and reliability of platforms and services
Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Harness, Jenkins, or similar tools
Partner with engineering and DevOps teams to improve deployment automation and release management
Execute Incident, Change, and Problem Management (ITSM) processes using ServiceNow
Lead or contribute to major incident management, bridge calls, and stakeholder communications
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and drive long-term remediation
Monitor systems using Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or equivalent tools
Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and observability metrics
Analyze logs, metrics, and traces to identify performance bottlenecks and reliability risks
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, cloud, and security teams
Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation
Support platform modernization, reliability, and scalability initiatives
Qualification
Required
5+ years in Application Support, Production Support, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or DevOps
3+ years hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Harness, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Strong experience with ServiceNow, ITIL, Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management
2+ years working with observability & monitoring tools (Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, Dynatrace)
Solid understanding of application deployments, runtime environments, and system dependencies
Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills
Proven ability to work directly with business stakeholders and customers during outages
Preferred
Experience with VM image builds and infrastructure automation
Exposure to Kubernetes, OpenShift (OCP), Docker, or container platforms
Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated enterprise environments
Familiarity with cloud or hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
