Financial Analyst

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and business-focused Financial Analyst to support a manufacturing organization through accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and proactive decision support. Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, variance analyses, and performance dashboards for assigned manufacturing sites
Analyze plant-level results including production costs, inventory trends, standard costs, and margin performance
Support the annual budgeting process and develop rolling forecasts in partnership with operations and leadership teams
Monitor KPIs such as labor efficiency, material usage, scrap, OEE, and overhead absorption; present findings with clear recommendations
Collaborate with plant managers and functional leaders to evaluate cost‑saving opportunities and support capital investment decisions
Maintain and validate standard cost models, BOMs/routers, overhead rates, and cost allocations
Track and report program and project costs, ensuring visibility into spending vs. plan
Build financial models to support scenario planning, new product introductions, pricing strategies, and margin analysis
Support audit activities, internal controls, and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS
Recommend and implement improvements to financial processes, reporting accuracy, and ERP system utilization

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
2–7+ years of relevant finance experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and plant operations
Advanced Excel proficiency
Excellent analytical, communication, and cross‑functional partnership skills
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, data‑driven, production‑focused environment

Preferred

MBA or CPA
Experience with major ERP systems
