SVP, Deputy Chief Technology Officer

Responsibilities
Partner with the CTO and IT Leadership to define and execute the bank’s technology infrastructure strategy
Lead the transformation of legacy systems to modern, scalable cloud-native architectures
Serve as a key technology leader in regulatory and audit discussions
Oversee operations across 3 Microsoft Azure environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency
Manage 4 co-location data centers and hybrid infrastructure supporting 100+ geographically distributed sites and drive toward consolidation
Drive automation, observability, and resilience across all infrastructure layers
Lead enterprise-wide systems engineering, including Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and storage
Oversee enterprise networking (LAN/WAN/SD-WAN), ensuring secure and reliable connectivity across all sites
Collaborate with CISO and security teams to implement and maintain a proactive vulnerability management program
Ensure compliance with FRB, FFIEC, and other regulatory frameworks
Lead incident response and remediation efforts for infrastructure-related security events
Oversee software and infrastructure release cycles, ensuring coordination across teams
Maintain compliance and quality standards during release processes
Implement best practices for release management to ensure smooth and efficient deployments
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of infrastructure, cloud, and network engineers
Manage strategic vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for infrastructure services and tools
Involved with interviewing and hiring decisions
Prepare and deliver employee performance evaluations, goal planning, and counselings
Manage, support, coach and train staff

Qualification
Required
15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior infrastructure or cloud leadership role
Proven experience managing large-scale hybrid environments (on-prem + Azure cloud)
Deep understanding of banking regulatory requirements (FRB, FFIEC, SOX, etc.)
Expertise in cloud operations, data center management, network architecture, and vulnerability management
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
ITIL or similar frameworks
High School diploma or equivalent required
