Head of Global Sales
Biosero is a company focused on laboratory automation and life sciences, seeking a Head of Global Sales to define and execute their global go-to-market strategy. This role involves leading and coaching commercial teams, engaging in strategic customer opportunities, and ensuring alignment between Sales and Marketing to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Provide executive leadership and hands-on commercial direction to the global Sales and Marketing organization, serving as a player-coach who actively leads and participates in key customer and prospect engagements while mobilizing cross-functional resources as required
Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing global Sales and Marketing organization through disciplined recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development of Direct Account Managers, Inside Sales Representatives, and Key Account Managers
Personally own and close a defined set of strategic or enterprise accounts, acting as executive sponsor and primary closer for Biosero’s most complex, high-value opportunities
Establish and enforce rigorous commercial operating discipline, including forecasting accuracy, pipeline coverage, account planning, deal reviews, and close execution across regions
Lead and drive enterprise-wide pricing, quoting, services attachment, and commercial governance in partnership with executive stakeholders to optimize revenue quality, deal structure, and long-term profitability
Partner with the Biosero Managing Director and executive leadership to set and achieve annual global Sales and Marketing targets, regional and territory goals across North America and Europe, and clear, measurable performance objectives
Ensure tight alignment between Sales and Marketing to drive demand generation, account-based marketing, pipeline creation, and conversion efficiency in coordination with BICO Marketing
Monitor and evaluate commercial performance across regions, proactively identifying risks and opportunities and implementing corrective actions to ensure consistent execution against plan
Maintain full executive accountability for achieving and exceeding annual global Sales and Marketing targets, including revenue, margin, and pipeline health
Define, execute, and personally sponsor territory expansion strategies, including entering new geographic markets, verticals, or customer segments, while refining territory design, coverage models, and resource allocation to maximize growth, productivity, and return on investment
Represent Biosero externally with key customers, partners, and industry leaders, serving as a senior commercial spokesperson and trusted executive sponsor
Qualification
Required
15 or more years of experience in laboratory automation, life sciences, or related technical markets
Proven success selling complex, integrated automation and software-enabled solutions
Experience leading geographically distributed sales teams across North America and Europe
Experience in building new territories, either through reseller / dealership networks or through new direct sales teams
Strong strategic account planning and execution capabilities
Experience with CRM and ERP systems such as Salesforce, Zoho, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms
Established professional network within life sciences or laboratory automation
Global leadership mindset with the ability to lead teams across cultures and time zones
Strong people leadership, coaching, and talent development skills
Strong contract negotiation skills
Data driven decision making and forecasting discipline
Cross functional collaboration within a matrixed BICO organization
Executive presence, communication skills, and accountability for results
