Responsibilities
Lead and participate in Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions with stakeholders
Document and validate business requirements; translate into functional specifications
Develop and execute test strategies, scenarios, and cases
Support System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
Collaborate with vendors to ensure complete and accurate requirement coverage
Assist in creating end-user documentation and training materials
Provide oversight during stabilization phases, including monitoring fixes and implementation
Conduct data queries and analysis to support business decisions
Act as liaison between program staff, IT teams, and external stakeholders
Provide backup support to other Business Analysts as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum 6-8 years of Business Analyst experience
Strong understanding of healthcare operations, especially Medicaid and Medicaid
Experience with HIPAA claims and payment transactions
Proficiency in SQL and data analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
Strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, IT, or Healthcare Administration
