The intern will collaborate with senior data scientists and engineers to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets, contributing to the development of medical imaging machine learning models.

Responsibilities
Assist in the design and implementation of machine learning models and algorithms
Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and exploratory data analysis
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics
Design data experiments for validation of machine learning models
Develop software for preprocessing medical images for use in machine learning and AI applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver insights
Support the deployment and monitoring of machine learning models
Collaborate with our SQA team on integration and system testing
Participate in code reviews and learn from experienced data scientists and engineers
Qualification
Required
A curious mindset: you ask questions, dig into problems, and enjoy learning new technologies
Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
Some experience or a strong interest in machine learning
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills: you can explain your thinking clearly, both in writing and conversation
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Experience with two or more of the following: Python
R
C# (highly preferred), C++, or Java
SQL (Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases)
Understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques
