Responsibilities
Tax Supervisor will provide primary and secondary review for moderate to large-sized tax engagements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality standards
Review and manage the preparation of Individual, S-Corporation, and High Net Worth tax returns
Support and consult with clients on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) transactions, including tax implications, due diligence, and structuring guidance
Serve as a technical resource for staff, offering guidance and best practices throughout peak tax season
As a Tax Supervisor, you will communicate directly with clients to address tax questions, planning opportunities, and compliance matters
Ensure work is completed within deadlines while maintaining a high level of client service
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Several years of public accounting experience with progressive responsibility
Strong experience reviewing complex tax returns, including high-net-worth individuals and pass-through entities
Working knowledge of M&A-related tax issues and due diligence processes
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple engagements
Strong communication and client relationship skills
Preferred
CPA preferred or in progress
