Interim Financial Controller
LHH is working with a Technology/Consumer Products company to fill an Interim Financial Controller position. The role involves overseeing financial close processes, managing ledger activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies.

Responsibilities
Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure timely, accurate financial statements
Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and reconciliations
Lead preparation of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and management reporting packages
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
Partner with supply chain, operations, and sales teams to ensure accurate COGS, margin reporting, promotional activities, and profitability analysis
Support forecasting and budgeting cycles with a strong understanding of demand planning and sales trends
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and FP&A to ensure accurate revenue and expense tracking
Strengthen internal controls, identify process gaps, and implement improvements across accounting workflows
Provide insights into business performance through variance analysis and KPI monitoring
Lead preparation for external audits
Qualification
Required
CPA is required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Previous experience at management level within Technology, Software as a Service, or Consumer Products
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups; financial modeling a plus)
Previous experience using NetSuite system
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a transitional, fast‑paced environment and provide hands-on support
