Responsibilities

Provide System Integration and Test leadership to one or more of the following: the satellite bus, RF payloads, optical payloads, custom ground terminals, or custom user terminals
Provide system-level test design technical expertise to one or more of the following products and services: satellite bus, RF payloads, optical payloads, custom ground terminals, or custom user terminals
Specify and develop end-to-end payload or sub-system integration and test plans and procedures to validate performance against customer and/or partner requirements
Analyze system and subsystem test data and engage with cross functionally with teammates, partners, suppliers, or customers to evaluate the product performance and provide proactive feedback on potential improvements
Prepare reports documenting test results, test coverage, performance results and other key performance indicator (KPI) metrics, and communicate issues effectively with developers and managers
Effectively manage and track to closure test anomalies, defects, and bugs; Debug, root-cause, and make continuous improvements of control systems in a high-rate production environment

Required

Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
Experience with environmental testing including vibration, thermal, acoustic, and shock testing of space hardware systems
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance of TS/SCI

Preferred

Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
Experience with the project management of technical projects
4+ years of hardware development, test lab, space/aerospace maintenance or hands-on engineering environment experience
Demonstrated experience designing and executing mechanical integration test campaigns for flight hardware, including thermal vacuum, structural load testing, and qualification testing to mission-specific requirements
