Principal Specialist Contracts (Onsite)
RTX is seeking a Principal Specialist Contracts to join their Airborne Spectrum Dominance Contracts team in the Advanced Technology Sub Business Unit. This role involves supporting dynamic contracts, collaborating with various stakeholders, and managing contract administration actions throughout the acquisition life cycle.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain and Legal be critical member of the PMO
Own contract management/administration actions on proposal and contracts across the acquisition life cycle
Develop and respond to Request for Proposals (RFP) / Broad Agency Announcements (BAA), contract negotiation, contract administration, non-disclosure agreements, and other business agreements
For contracts terms; Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Firm Fixed Price - Level of Effort (FFP-LOE), and Other Transaction Agreements (OTA)
Work with local DCMA/DCAA on government contracts
Interface with customers for correspondence, contractual changes and contractual issues
Influence others through the explanation of facts, policies and practices
Investigate and resolve contractual matters by critically thinking, gathering detailed information, and proactively collaborating with relevant stakeholders
Provide advice/guidance on contractual rights/obligations, regulations, and policy/procedure to mitigate risks and unauthorized changes
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience
Experience working in Contracts, Subcontracts, Procurement, Estimating/Pricing, and / or Finance
Active in-scope DoD Secret Clearance
Preferred
An active transferable Top Secret (TS) clearance
Experience working in closed areas, classified programs
Experience with U.S. Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFARS)
Experience developing and maintaining high-performance relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers
