Responsibilities
Serve as the primary subject matter expert and product owner for IPTOR DC1/XT
Provide ongoing application support, issue resolution, and performance optimization
Research, analyze, track, and communicate incidents and system problems
Coordinate with department leadership to address recurring issues impacting workflow
Act as system administrator for the IBM i environment, including:
Security administration
System resource monitoring
Message and job monitoring
Work with external managed service vendors supporting the IBM i and ERP platform
Oversee the stability, performance, and integrity of the ERP ecosystem
Research and analyze current business processes
Lead workflow analysis efforts and recommend automation opportunities
Develop methodology and process documentation through interviews, diagrams, and analysis
Help draft, refine, and promote solutions that improve operational efficiency
Assist with project management activities for ERP-related initiatives
Support change management processes including impact analysis and communication
Participate in testing and implementation of new applications and system updates
Validate system functionality after upgrades or changes
Create and assist in developing end-user training materials
Train users on ERP functionality and process improvements
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and business needs
Work independently with minimal supervision
Support continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes
Qualification
Required
College degree or advanced degree preferred
Hands-on experience with IPTOR DC1/XT ERP system
Strong knowledge of IBM i (iSeries) operating system, utilities, and CL programming
Familiarity with DB2 and RPG ILE environments
Ability to read RPG code is helpful but not required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with workflow analysis and business process improvement
Understanding of system administration and application lifecycle support
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
