Pace Suburban Bus is a transportation authority in northeastern Illinois, and they are seeking an IT Infrastructure Intern to assist with the daily operations of their Information Technology Department. The intern will be involved in tasks such as racking servers, documenting equipment, and supporting server configuration.

Responsibilities

Racking and removing servers from racks, along with cabling
Documenting equipment locations and labeling equipment in the data center
Assisting in the configuring and building of servers
Working independently on various projects
Performing other duties as assigned

Qualification

Microsoft Office SuiteIT Systems experienceServer configurationData center operationsDocumentation skills

Required

Must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be currently enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year accredited college or university and working towards a degree in Information Technology/Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science and Analytics, or other related field
Must demonstrate working knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite applications
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Frequently stand and/or walk within an office environment
Lift and carry up to 25lbs
Use a keyboard and type for prolonged periods
