Desktop Support Technician

GTS Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician to provide high-quality, onsite technical support in an enterprise environment. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing executive-level support, and mentoring junior technicians.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of personal computers (desktops and laptops) and related systems
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues in an enterprise environment
Identify and escalate network-related issues as they pertain to desktop and laptop systems
Provide “white-glove” executive-level technical support
Support Microsoft productivity tools, including Office 365 and Microsoft Teams
Support and troubleshoot video teleconferencing solutions such as Cisco Webex
Deliver end-user training, create technical processes, and develop knowledge documentation
Lead and support various IT project efforts
Serve as a local technical leader and mentor to junior technicians
Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) background check upon hire

Required

4+ years providing white-glove, executive-level technical support
5+ years providing end-user desktop support

5+ years troubleshooting IT hardware and peripherals in an enterprise environment
5+ years supporting Microsoft productivity tools (Office 365, MS Teams)
4+ years supporting video teleconferencing solutions (e.g., Cisco Webex)
Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) background check upon hire

Preferred

5+ years creating technical knowledge articles and documentation
4+ years utilizing ServiceNow in a support environment
5+ years working in a multi-vendor support environment
