Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a plant engineering and maintenance organization to ensure equipment, utilities, and facilities operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with GMP, food safety, and security requirements
Set technical and operational direction to consistently achieve performance targets across safety, quality, service, and cost metrics
Champion a culture of continuous improvement by embedding proactive behaviors, accountability, and data-driven decision-making
Establish and sustain preventive and predictive maintenance strategies that minimize downtime, extend asset life, and improve equipment availability
Direct the engineering function to support both immediate operational needs and long-term strategic objectives
Identify process, system, and capability gaps; lead root cause analysis efforts and implement sustainable corrective actions
Own the facility capital planning process, including budget development, project justification, ROI evaluation, and spend control
Plan, prioritize, and track engineering and capital projects to ensure alignment with safety, quality, delivery, and cost expectations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical discipline
5–7+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
Proven success leading engineering, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated or high-volume production setting
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, reliability improvement, and process optimization methodologies
