They are seeking a Bilingual Patient Service Representative to provide support and assistance to patients in the Pediatric department, including greeting and registering patients, verifying information, and scheduling appointments.

Responsibilities

Greets patients and identified their needs
Verifies insurance information through managed care website
Answers incoming calls and takes messages for providers
Registers patients, assigns PCP (when applicable), checks demographic information, updates information as needed
Schedules appointment and reschedule no shows appointments
Helps to maintain charts and provide administrative support to the department
Distributes forms for completion, HIPPA, Verification letters, and submission, scanning patient documentation
Supports addressing referrals and other duties or project if assigned

Qualification

Bilingual (Spanish/English)Clerical/administrative experienceCommunication skillsPhone etiquetteThrive in fast-paced environment

Required

High School Diploma required
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with clerical/administrative functions is required, ideally in a health care setting
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
Must have excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional experience to patients
Understanding of phone etiquette and standard office procedures
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
