Responsibilities
Serve as an independent provider, collaborating with an on-site physician
Care for patients on the medical/surgical floor and progressive care unit
Complete admissions, provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, ordering, conducting and interpreting diagnostic tests
Prescription of pharmacological agents, referrals, patient education and complete discharges
Orientation will primarily take place in Mankato and New Prague on the medical/surgical floors, progressive care unit, intensive care unit and CAH expectations
On boarding will require travel for AI learning including SIM and didactic which we will utilize Rochester and other locations
Qualification
Required
Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program
Current Minnesota RN and APRN license and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP)
Current Minnesota RN and APRN license and certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner Certification (ANP)
Current Minnesota RN and APRN license and certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP)
Current Minnesota RN and APRN license and certification as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGNP or AGPCNP)
Current Minnesota RN and APRN license and certification as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGACNP or ACNPC-AG)
Current Minnesota RN and APRN license and certification as a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner Certification (GNP)
Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA
Registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice
Registration with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) is required
BLS and ACLS is required
