NEOGOV is seeking a Contracts/Grants Reviewer 4 to manage the procurement, preparation, and processing of contracts and grants for the Department of Transportation and Development. The role involves preparing and monitoring complex contracts, solving contract problems, and providing technical assistance to program personnel.

Responsibilities
Prepares, develops, and monitors complex contracts and/or grants agreements, applications, budgets, amendments, and sub-grant agreements in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements and departmental policies and procedures
Works with administrators, officials, and other personnel to solve contract problems and facilitate coordination
Maintains records, prepares reports, and/or correspondence relative to contracts and/or grants. Prepares reports for administrators, legislature, media, and public on the status of contracts
Reviews required progress reports, completion reports, and work products from Program Managers, sub-grantees, and contractors. Provides technical assistance and consultation to program personnel in preparation of grant proposals or contract agreements
Reviews reports and records to ensure costs claimed are allowable, and to ensure the contract/grant is on schedule and terms are being met
Assists in the preparation of RFPs (Requests for Proposals)
Tracks the approval process of contracts/grants, ensuring all necessary approvals are received
Research grant awards and state appropriation budgets to make sure that funds are available
Assists in planning, organizing, and conducting workshops and seminars to inform agency personnel on a statewide basis of all contract laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
Qualification
Required
Five years of experience in contracts or grants management, procurement, financial management, or accounting
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus two years of experience in contracts or grants management, procurement, financial management, or accounting
A bachelor's degree plus two years of experience in contracts or grants management, procurement, financial management, or accounting
An advanced degree in business or public administration, finance, economics, or statistics plus one year of experience in contracts or grants management, procurement, financial management, or accounting
One year of the required experience for the following minimum qualifications must have been in contracts or grants management
