PRESS Architecture is a growing firm based in Spokane, WA, specializing in multifamily and infill housing, light industrial facilities, and mass timber design. They are seeking a Project Architect who will collaborate with the team on project management, design, quality control, and client engagement.

Work collaboratively with all office staff
Project management
Feasibility and concept design
Quality control review of junior staff work
Revit drafting
Client engagement
Consultant coordination
Liaising with governing jurisdictions
Specification review

Required

Bachelors or Master's Degree in Architecture
Minimum 5 years of professional experience
Strong design, graphic, and communication skills
Be inquisitive, nimble, and collaborative
Proven history of critical thinking, design exploration, and client engagement
Proficiency in conceptual design, space planning, construction document development
Proficiency in feasibility studies including land use evaluation
Strong proficiency in building codes and Washington State energy code implementation and navigation
History of working with governing jurisdictions and securing building permits
Strong proficiency in architectural drawing standards and development, including detailing
Be able to run a project from start to finish
Be able to work independently and collaboratively
Be able to work multiple projects at once and manage time / workload effectively
Revit (strong proficiency required)

Preferred

Architectural license preferred; positive progress towards architectural licensure acceptable
8+ years of professional experience preferred
History of working with junior staff preferred
Sketch-up
Google platform
Adobe CS
Optional: Lumion or other rendering software
