Patient Care Technician Internal Travel

Intern, Entry LevelDaVita Kidney Care is a leading provider of kidney care services, and they are seeking a Patient Care Technician for their internal travel team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing ongoing care to dialysis patients, collaborating with RNs, and covering high-priority staffing needs across various locations.

Responsibilities
Spending the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment
The PCT can be deployed to dialysis dens nationwide
Provide PCT coverage for situations like new dialysis den launches, increased patient census, PTO/ Leave of Absence coverage that is over 1 week in duration, or covering after a teammate's termination
Provide comprehensive patient care in an independent setting
Monitor patients before, during and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
MUST SHOW A VALID AND ACTIVE CCHT ON THE NNCC WEBSITE
Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
Preferred
An Ohio Certified Dialysis Technician certification is a plus!
