Responsibilities

Manage the development process, including the creation of seasonal WIPs, ensuring all vendors are sending updated information on weekly basis, reviewing data to ensure accuracy and following up on status as needed
Manages all submits – reviewing, approving, and organization all submits
Owner in preparation for meetings by organizing samples / submits / costing / development
Responsible for PLM data integrity of all critical style information and technical properties
Maintains accuracy of technical packages that meet the product’s goals for innovation, function, fit and commercial viability
Participates in fittings with tech designer, designer and merchandiser; primary contact for communication directly with vendors - Liaison between vendor and Vuori HQ
Responsible for communicating all comments to vendors; written and verbal, on pertinent design/development & reviewing information with cross functional team
Negotiates costing with vendors/factories to achieve cost targets on a seasonal basis
Responsible for requesting, evaluating, and approving all quality and compliance testing for designated category
Responsible for on time delivery of all sample & bulk development timelines
Monitor time/action calendars to hit target calendar dates including proto, Photo Shoot, Sales Samples, Pre-production through Bulk
Assists with seasonal marketing deliverables including communication of photo sample status

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent years of experience preferred
3+ years of product development experience is required and/or product management experience with an understanding of managing product from concept through completion
Sense of fashion and trend in relation to the market
Must possess strong knowledge of costing, garment construction, and all pre-production coordination
Strategic understanding of timelines and deadlines in relation to a seasonal calendar
Knowledge of materials used in the engineering and manufacturing processes used to build products
Intermediate Computer Drawing skills for technical and construction details or related art using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop a plus
Intermediate to advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Excel
Experience in PLM systems is a plus
Aptitude for systems and systematic work
Domestic or International travel may be required
Bend, lift, open and move product and related office items varying in weight up to 25lbs, depending on need
