This role involves managing the end-to-end pricing lifecycle and influencing executive decision-making to ensure profitability and alignment with market conditions.

Responsibilities

Strategic Quote Governance: Direct the pricing strategy for all major customer quotes. Approve final cost-plus submissions and ensure deal structures align with corporate margin targets and long-term risk profiles
Executive Negotiation Leadership: Act as the lead financial strategist during client negotiations. Provide the Sales and Executive teams with real-time scenario modeling and mandated walk-away points to secure favorable, sustainable terms
Portfolio Margin Management: Drive a rigorous review process of the existing contract portfolio to identify margin leakage. Direct the execution of price adjustments, index-based increases, and renegotiation strategies
Strategic Market Insights: Synthesize raw material trends and competitor benchmarking into actionable pricing policy changes. Proactively advise leadership on currency and supply chain risks impacting contract profitability
Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between Sales, Operations, and Finance. Lead regular pricing meetings to ensure operational capacity and supply chain costs are accurately reflected in market-facing quotes

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
7+ years of progressive experience in pricing or cost accounting, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or project-management capacity within a manufacturing environment
Advanced Modeling in Excel
Experience managing pricing workflows within an ERP system
Knowledge of standard costing, overhead allocation, and P&L management
