Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT data pipelines supporting People Analytics initiatives
Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries (CTEs, window functions, complex joins) to blend data from multiple HR and business systems
Partner with HR, Analytics, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust data models
Ensure high standards of data quality, accuracy, and reliability across people data platforms
Support reporting and visualization efforts using Power BI, Tableau, or R
Implement and maintain data governance, security, and privacy controls , including row-level security and data masking
Document data models, pipelines, and processes to ensure maintainability and scalability
Troubleshoot data issues and continuously improve data infrastructure and performance

Required

Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer
Advanced SQL expertise (CTEs, window functions, performance tuning — will be tested)
Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran
Strong background building and maintaining ELT pipelines
Experience working with HR / People data or workforce-related datasets
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong documentation, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail

Preferred

Experience with Workday (reporting, calculated fields, RaaS)
Background in People Analytics or HR Analytics
Experience with Power BI, especially data marts
Exposure to HR systems such as ICIMS, Salesforce, Gallup, Workramp, or similar
Experience using Python for data or ELT automation
