Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment for quartz glass
Provide emergency maintenance for plant facilities and equipment, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, roofing, etc
Utilize work order system to log activities and track completed work
Collaborate with engineering team to install or modify equipment as needed
Assist in completing work orders and scheduling maintenance/repairs on equipment
Document changes to equipment, systems, procedures, and facilities as needed
Troubleshoot equipment, minor plumbing, HVAC, and electrical issues
Coordinates contractor support as required
Evaluate and recommend changes to production and facility equipment to improve production process and equipment reliability
Provide Maintenance Assistant Manager and Maintenance Manager with information to assist in the preparation of annual maintenance budget
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in industrial maintenance or other maintenance-related discipline, or equivalent experience, preferred
Minimum of five years in a maintenance environment; experience must include all areas of maintenance (i.e., electrical, mechanical, control systems, electronic systems, welding, pipe fitting)
Minimum of two years electrical and electronic systems troubleshooting and repair experience
Must have advanced knowledge and skills and considerable experience in repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Proficient Microsoft office suite
Demonstrate a high level of integrity, professionalism, and leadership ability; exhibit a high level of motivation and initiative with the ability to meet deadlines
Preferred
Experience with maintenance CMM software preferred
