Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger and sub-ledger accounts for assigned properties
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring proper coding and approval workflows
Track and manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for each property
Use Yardi to bill tenant CAM estimates and perform annual CAM reconciliations
Collaborate with operations teams to monitor leasing activity, rent rolls, and occupancy reports in Yardi
Use Excel to create detailed financial models, reports, and pivot tables for management review
Support annual audit and tax filings by preparing schedules, documentation, and responses to inquiries
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 3 years of property accounting experience, ideally within an industrial or warehouse setting
Proficiency in Yardi 7S/8 Property Management Software is required
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
Strong understanding of GAAP principles and accounting best practices
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
Effective communicator with strong problem-solving skills
Preferred
Coordinate workflow and task tracking through Asana to maintain project timelines
