Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional maintenance and engineering team
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing and automation strategies
Oversee maintenance engineering support across all production lines to maximize uptime, quality, and efficiency
Lead and manage capital projects, including equipment upgrades and new technology implementations
Apply AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC) to support quality and process optimization
Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to ensure manufacturing standards are met
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
Utilize PLC-based automation systems (Allen-Bradley preferred) to support production and maintenance operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related engineering discipline)
Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
At least 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience
Strong experience within the automotive manufacturing environment
Hands-on expertise with AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC)
Proven track record of process improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives
Experience with automation and PLC systems (Allen-Bradley preferred)
Demonstrated success managing technical projects and capital investments

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to lead change in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
